Excellent spot
We didn't visit the villa inside, it was too late, but we discovered this fantastic garden with a breathtaking view! We will return to see its interior too.
Splendid seventeenth-century villa, excellently restored. Free entry, rooms with richly frescoed ceilings on the main floor. The church on the lower floor is extraordinary with truly evocative decorations.
Panoramic garden overlooking the valley.
Recommended for all visitors to Trevi!
Beautiful park in which the villa is located. This houses a music college. If you're lucky, you can catch music from the rehearsals while visiting the garden behind the house (waist-high rosemary, lavender and sage bushes).
Great ceiling painting in the foyer.
Magical view over the valley.
17th century villa behind the main square of Trevi, with a garden overlooking the entire valley and the surrounding hills.
We attended a concert from sunset onwards and this setting made everything even more magical!
Absolutely worth visiting and taking part in the events they organise!
Villa Fabri was built by Girolamo Fabri and inaugurated in 1603. The very suggestive southern façade is characterized by a double stone staircase and a nymphaeum with three niches.
The north facade that can be seen when entering from Piazza Garibaldi is less imposing since the lower floor is underground, but it appears more elegant and refined; here it is possible to admire the images of six cities of Bohemia whose names in Latin are written in the lower boxes. The frescoes from the first half of the 17th century which embellish the rooms on the main floor are wonderful and very well preserved. Recommended visit but, in my opinion, the interior of the villa deserves to be more valorised.
Stunning frescoes, beautiful chapel, free visit, recommended.
Trevi, a beautiful, very characteristic village in Umbria. Among the narrow alleys you can breathe the air of centuries of history. The oil produced in the surrounding hills is excellent. Beautiful villa Fabri.
